Mission San Francisco de Asis

Mission San Francisco de Asis (smaller one on the left), also called Mission Delores, and the new Basilica (right).
Founded in 1776, Mission Delores is the oldest building in San Francisco.

A tender moment
Altar of Mission Delores. The Archangel Michael somehow looks very cheerful.
The saints. Now I can recognize the one in the middle is St Anthony de Padua.
Pope John Paul II had been here in 1987.
What S.F. looked like 200 years ago.
Clothes worn by the Franciscan fathers.
Monstrance and chalices (items used at Mass) in the Mission museum.
Enter the Basilica.

The rosary window tells the story of the each Mission.
A quiet moment in the Mission cemetery.
