The New Rich

A painting depicting the golden age of the Dutch republic. Somehow, these guys remind me the new rich in the Silicon Valley.

19th Century Paintings at Stanford's Cantor Museum

This 19th Century realism painting (named The Accident) is definitely a Norman Rockwell precursor. 

In front of the painting, I can feel the boy shouting at me.

The detail of the painting is amazing.  

This was how 19th century gallery displayed paintings: called stacking.

Now we are looking at the Romantic's idea of Sublime.

My School

My elementary school. It was named after the this ill fated U2 pilot, who crash landed in South Korea after running out of fuel after a surveillance mission in Mainland China.
